Etihad Airways restores 90% of its destinations before the pandemic during the summer

Etihad Airways said that it has restored about 90% of its destinations during the summer season, compared to the destinations that it was operating flights to before the Corona Covid-19 pandemic, explaining that it is currently operating flights to 65 destinations, compared to 73 destinations in February 2020 immediately before the pandemic.

Etihad Airways indicated that it has resumed flights to 65 destinations in 44 countries around the world, including 6 destinations designated in the air cargo sector, noting that there are many positive indications of an increase in demand during the summer period.

An official spokesman for the airline said in press statements that Etihad Airways intends to operate additional flights on its network in the coming weeks, bringing the number of its seasonal flights in the summer period to 12 flights per week, noting that seasonal flights are operated two days a week and will continue until mid-September.

The spokesman noted that with the easing of travel restrictions and the adoption of safe corridors, Etihad Airways will continue to increase the number of flights and services through its network of destinations during the coming period, especially to countries between which there are safe corridors to provide safe and smoother travel options for travelers, noting that safe destinations have encouraged many. Citizens and residents are encouraged to travel during the summer, especially since a quarantine is not required when traveling to it

He pointed out that the destinations on the Etihad Airways network that are not required to be quarantined, whether in travel to it or upon return to Abu Dhabi, are Russia, the United States, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Greece, Seychelles and Spain, noting that some destinations are subject to the requirements for obtaining the Corona vaccine, and the Union is updating the list Continuously so that travelers are up-to-date with the latest travel information
