He recalled that the forum is being held without the participation of the state in terms of financial support, but with the help of those participants who "want to see this forum on the annual agenda."

“These people, businessmen from all over the world and Russian businessmen, signed over 800 agreements at this forum.

I believe this is an unprecedented number of agreements.

Their number surpassed the results of 2019, when 745 agreements were signed.

So the total amount of agreements, despite the fact that we did not take into account agreements that are commercial secrets, exceeded 3 trillion 860 billion rubles, ”Kobyakov said during a press conference.

The leader among the regions in terms of signing agreements was the Leningrad Region, which signed 29 documents totaling 1 trillion 32 billion rubles.

Kobyakov also said that 13,000 participants from 140 countries of the world visited SPIEF this year.

The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in 2021 is held on June 2-5 in face-to-face format.
