Housing starts in April Increased by 7.1% compared to the same month last year Increased for 2 consecutive months

According to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, 74,521 new homes were newly constructed nationwide in April, an increase of 7.1% compared to the same month last year, an increase for the second consecutive month.

Although the number of construction starts for condominiums has decreased, the number of “rental houses” indicating rental housing such as apartments and “owned houses” of custom-built houses have both increased, and overall sales exceeded the same month last year.
