A draft of a new health protocol was sent to the social partners on Wednesday evening, and is due to enter into force from June 9.

If the gradual return to face-to-face work is planned, employers will have to fix with employees a minimum number of telework days per week.

DECRYPTION

While the figures for the coronavirus epidemic continue to improve and the vaccination campaign continues, face-to-face work will make a comeback for many French people.

Indeed, from June 9, 100% teleworking will no longer be an obligation for those who could perform their tasks remotely since the end of October.

A draft of a new health protocol was sent to the social partners on Wednesday evening, and will be discussed on Monday with the Minister of Labor Élisabeth Borne.

But the idea is not to completely abandon teleworking.

Coronavirus: follow the evolution of the situation Thursday, May 27

Things must be organized gradually, insists the Ministry of Labor.

People must not come back to the company overnight ... We will have to find a happy medium.

This is the idea behind this new protocol project, with an adjustment on a case-by-case basis depending on the company, and consultation between employers and employees to set a minimum number of teleworked days per week.

The draft text also specifies that it will continue to favor meetings by videoconference.

Pots at work allowed again

There will therefore always be teleworking, but with a relaxation of the rules.

Companies can also take the example of the state itself, since from June 9, there will be 3 days of teleworking in the public service, for two in face-to-face.

CORONAVIRUS ESSENTIALS

> Reopening of terraces: what risk of Covid contamination outdoors?

> "I'm afraid ...": the cabin syndrome, or the fear of resuming a normal life

> Covid: the countries which have done the opposite of us "have been better on all fronts"

> Coronavirus: why can a PCR test be positive one month after infection?

> Reopening of the terraces: how to indulge yourself while eating a balanced diet

Another point, perhaps more anecdotal, but surely eagerly awaited by some employees: the text allows "moments of conviviality".

More concretely, pots at work are once again possible.

But only, of course, if they are organized in strict compliance with barrier gestures.
