The restaurant and hotel sector is launching a new recruitment platform.

Called HCR EMPLOYMENT, this solution should facilitate the procedures for applying and should also simplify administrative procedures for employers.

With the reopening of terraces and hotels after several weeks of closure, the owners of these establishments face a new challenge: recruiting staff.

Chef de partie, cook, bartender or even waiter, 100,000 of these jobs remain unfilled each year in France.

To remedy this, the Union des Métiers et des Industries de Hôtellerie is presenting a new online platform to improve the relationship between candidates and employers.

Three years of development

Called HCR EMPLOI, this platform should allow candidates to validate an application in a few clicks.

For employers, the procedures have also been simplified thanks to this solution which automatically communicates information to Urssaf, draws up the employment contract and publishes the payslips at the end of the month.

"90% of our companies are very small enterprises (TPE) with less than eleven employees. They do not have a director of Human Resources", underlines the president of the Union of Trades and Industries of the Hotel industry, Thierry Grégoire, very proud of this tool which will have taken three years to see the light of day.

"Having employment contracts that are legally perfect is also the object of this platform," he adds.

Other platforms to come

"If I need a diver, I will do my recruitment this evening. Tomorrow at 10 am, my diver arrives on a fixed-term contract. My information accounting firm, Urssaf also, which avoids me problems of social rights behind. It's super comfort ", assures Thomas Védrine, restaurateur in Lyon and who has just made his first recruitment thanks to the platform.

Other sectors could also be inspired by this solution, like the construction industry or the agricultural world.

Sectors that are struggling to recruit, such as construction or 70,000 jobs remain vacant.
