Antony Blinken arrived in the Middle East on Tuesday.
The US foreign minister met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, then went to the occupied West Bank to meet with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, before going to Egypt and Jordan.
An express tour which aims above all to consolidate the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas concluded last week.

In Ramallah, a demonstration took place as the US Secretary of State arrived.
There were no crowds, but the message was clear with signs "

" or "

".
During the demonstration there were also the photos of the children of Gaza killed in
the bombings of the Israeli army

", denounces Essam Baker, one of the demonstrators.
He specifies, he is there to show that he rejects the visit of the head of American diplomacy altogether: “
The United States, with Trump or Biden, it's the same thing.
It is against our people, supporting the Israeli occupation and the ethnic cleansing of our lands.
And especially during the last escalation in Gaza, the Americans made it clear that they support Israel's right to defense, against our civilian populations.

End US imperialism
All sing against US imperialism and denounce the fact that Antony Blinken comes to negotiate with Mahmoud Abbas, a corrupt leader without power, believes a group of young Palestinians, rather than listen to the younger generation.

The Palestinian people have spoken in the streets, our demand is liberation.
Our struggle will continue until the freedom of Palestine is regained, from the Jordan River to the sea.
”
Their request is simple: that the
United States
no longer be the benefactor and protector of Israel.
A tradition that has lasted for decades, they say.
