Ahmed bin Saeed chairs the Supreme Energy meeting in Dubai

His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Energy in Dubai, chaired the sixty-fifth meeting of the Council, which was held remotely in the presence of the Council’s Vice President, Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer.

The meeting discussed several topics, most notably Dubai Executive Council Resolution No. (6) for the year 2021 in regulating the provision of district cooling service in the Emirate of Dubai, with the aim of creating a legislative framework that regulates aspects related to providing district cooling service in the emirate to raise the efficiency of operating district cooling units and activities related to energy generation. The meeting also discussed the alignment of the circular economy with the strategy of managing demand for energy and water in Dubai and the establishment of a circular economy committee in the Supreme Council of Energy in Dubai.
