  From a structural point of view, from January to April, the implementation amount of offshore information technology outsourcing (ITO), business process outsourcing (BPO) and knowledge process outsourcing (KPO) undertaken by Chinese companies was 91.3 billion yuan, 36.4 billion yuan and 66.6 billion yuan, respectively. Year-on-year increases were 46.4%, 22.2% and 16.8% respectively.

  From a geographical perspective, from January to April, 31 service outsourcing demonstration cities across the country undertook a total of 263.3 billion yuan in offshore service outsourcing contracts, and the executed value was 168.7 billion yuan, an increase of 33.4% and 31.6% respectively, accounting for 84.4% and 84.4% of the national total. 86.8%.

  From the market perspective, from January to April, the offshore outsourcing services undertaken by Chinese companies from the United States, Hong Kong, China and the EU amounted to 43.3 billion yuan, 38.7 billion yuan, and 24.6 billion yuan respectively, accounting for 54.9% of China’s offshore service outsourcing total.   From the perspective of the nature of the enterprise, from January to April, the value of offshore service outsourcing contracts undertaken by private enterprises was 67.9 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 60.0%, and the executed value was 43.9 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 38.9%.

The contract value of offshore service outsourcing undertaken by foreign-invested enterprises was 165.9 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 16.2%, accounting for 53.2% of the country's total.

  In terms of employment, as of April 2021, my country's service outsourcing has absorbed 13.19 million employees, of which 8.37 million have a university degree or above, accounting for 63.5%.

From January to April 2021, 290,000 new employees were employed in service outsourcing, a year-on-year increase of 17.3%, of which 180,000 persons had a university degree or above, accounting for 63.2%.
