  Affordable rental housing includes public rental housing and policy rental housing.

  Public rental housing is mainly for urban household registration housing and income "dual-difficulty" families. The implementation of physical security and monetary subsidies is a government guarantee method.

Policy-based rental housing is mainly for new citizens without housing. The government provides policy support for land, taxation, finance, etc., multi-subject investment, multi-channel supply, and government-guided prices to solve all kinds of new citizens' phased housing difficulties.

  The Minister of Housing and Urban-Rural Development Wang Menghui once introduced that in the future, policy-based rental housing will be developed in major cities with net population influx.

  The meeting proposed that the government will provide policy support, 40 cities will guide multi-entity investment, multi-channel supply, adhere to small-scale, low rent, focus on the use of stock land and housing construction guarantee rental housing, appropriate use of new supply of state-owned construction land for construction , Implemented a number of affordable rental housing projects, and proposed a 2021 plan for affordable rental housing.
