Samsung Electronics plans to invest KRW 19 trillion in semiconductor production line expansion, and SK Innovation and LG Energy Solution plan to invest KRW 15.7 trillion in electric vehicle battery business.



Hyundai Motor Company plans to invest KRW 8.3 trillion in electric vehicle production facilities.



The government and the business community are expecting that large-scale investments by Korean companies will serve as an opportunity to expand the position of Korean companies in the global market while responding to the Biden administration's'by-America' policy.
