China News Service, Harbin, May 19 (Ma Ruijin) China Railway Harbin Bureau Group Co., Ltd. announced on the 19th that at the construction site of the Jiamusi-Hegang Railway Reconstruction Project in Heilongjiang, the first hole of cement and soil by the construction staff of China Railway 20th Bureau The backfilling of compacted piles indicates that the northernmost railway reconstruction project in the country has entered the sprint stage in an all-round way.

The existing Jiamusi-Hegang railway was built in 1925, with a total length of 68 kilometers. Although it has been renovated several times, its low level and slow running speed make it very inconvenient for people to travel.

The Jiahe Railway Project, which was put into renovation and construction in August 2019, is one of the “Hundred Major Projects” in Heilongjiang Province. The total length of the line is 71.5 kilometers and the newly-built line is 31 kilometers. 200 kilometers per hour.

The reporter saw at the site of the Jiahe Railway Reconstruction Project that the project builders are adopting the domestically advanced "cement-soil compaction pile" construction method to reinforce the existing line roadbed.

According to Qu Chang, chief engineer of the Jiahe Railway Project Division 1 of China Railway 20th Bureau, the construction of cement-soil compaction piles is to install machines on the roadbed. Generally speaking, it is to put a "wedge" on the roadbed to make the original soft roadbed. More solid to meet the speed-up requirements of our trains.

This year is a critical year for the Jiahe Railway Reconstruction Project. Due to the requirements of the project schedule and engineering technology, the project builders solved a number of technical problems such as some soft soil subgrades and northern frozen soil subgrades to ensure the orderly progress of the project.

The Jiahe Railway renovation project will be completed and opened to traffic in the second half of 2022. By then, the travel time from Jiamusi to Hegang will be shortened from the current 1 hour and 40 minutes to 36 minutes.

After it is completed and opened to traffic, it will form the eastern express railway loop line of Heilongjiang Province together with the Ha-Jia railway that has been in operation. Cities along the route will also be included in the "two-hour, three-hour" economic circle with the provincial capital Harbin as the center. The accelerated and comprehensive development of the economy has provided strong support.
