Climate change is everyone's business.

Sustainable development makes it possible to slow it down, and everyone can take part in it, to their extent.

By adopting simple and consistent actions every day, we become an actor of the change we want to see for the planet.

Because consuming less but better is not that difficult.

Drawing.

We consume seasonal, organic and local

Eating seasonal products is one of the first eco-responsible actions to adopt.

And since nature is well made, the fruits and vegetables of each season correspond to our nutritional needs.

Not only our dishes have more taste, but we also discover unsuspected varieties.

We therefore favor fresh products and local producers.

These must be of high quality, labeled or certified, and guarantee respect for the environment, ethical and fair trade, human rights and animal welfare.

In addition, we try to buy other everyday products (clothes, furniture, books, etc.) close to home.

By favoring this solution, we limit our trips by car while employing some local craftsmen.

We reduce our energy consumption

Excessive use of electricity is neither good for the environment nor for our wallet.

In order to reduce our daily consumption, a few small habits are effective.

Washing machine, refrigerator, oven, television ... We start by choosing them that consume little energy and we run them in economy mode if they have any.

You can also reduce the heating by 1 small degree, do not leave devices plugged in when not in use or even use multiple sockets to prevent them from being put on standby.

Finally, we opt for rechargeable batteries, much less harmful to the environment than disposable models.

We save water

In the same vein, water is preserved.

For this, we prefer the shower to the bath (60 liters against nearly 200 liters), we do not let it run for nothing, we install accessories and special mixers reducing the flow of faucets and flushes ... Finally, we do not throw away the vegetable washing water, but we reuse it to water the plants, for example.

We reduce waste and waste

To avoid food waste, we get into the habit of watching out for expiry dates, cooking leftovers instead of throwing them away and composting fruit and vegetable peels, while ensuring recycling instructions.

In order to reduce the volume of waste, we also buy in bulk dry products such as pasta, rice, legumes, cereals, seeds or nuts.

Likewise, mineral water in plastic bottles is replaced by a reusable water bottle, made of durable and recyclable material.

We can also swap disposable sponges with fiber models and aluminum foil with beeswax coated food packaging, reusable and just as effective.

In the bathroom, we choose solid, natural and bottle-free products, available in shampoo, soap and other toothpaste, as well as reusable accessories (make-up removing wipes, hygienic protections, toothbrushes, etc.) or refillable ones.

We repair our objects

Consuming better is also thinking and avoiding buying what you don't really need.

By taking care of our purchases, we work to make them last as long as possible.

Rather than throwing away a broken item and replacing it with new one, we first inquire to see if it can be repaired or reconditioned.

We buy second-hand

For certain products such as toys, clothing, books, household appliances or even bicycles, buying second-hand can be both environmentally responsible and inexpensive.

Some items are even more authentic, more resistant and give off less chemical fumes (furniture in particular) than those straight from the factory.

We make our own products

Whether it is facial and hair care, cleaning products or laundry, it is best to try to make your own recipes, with natural, non-polluting and economical ingredients.

Honey, clay, white vinegar, lemon, Marseille soap or even baking soda are the stars of a beauty routine and a 100% natural and ecological home cleaning.

Responsible digital consumption

We do not always realize it, but digital technology generates many environmental impacts, computer networks being very energy intensive.

You can therefore adopt a few simple reflexes such as regularly emptying your mailbox, storing less unnecessary data in the Cloud, keeping the equipment as long as possible by promoting repair and recycling it appropriately.
