Emirati-British talks to open travel "soon"

His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, President of Dubai Airports, Supreme President and CEO of "Emirates Airlines" and the group, said that the UAE ranked third in the world in the list of the most countries in the world providing vaccines to its residents against the "Covid virus" 19 », pointing to His Highness to provide about 12 million doses of vaccine to the population.

His Highness added that this should prompt the United Kingdom to think so that the UAE is outside the red list.

In an interview with the American "CNBC" station, His Highness indicated that there are official talks with the British side and officials there to make sure that the UAE will soon be outside the red list.

His Highness added: “I am sure that everyone looks forward to traveling during the summer, especially people who have not been able to travel for about a year and a half, including people looking to visit family and relatives,” pointing out that more than 150,000 Britons live in the UAE. And they look forward to traveling to visit their families and relatives.

His Highness stated that the demand for travel will witness a significant increase during the next six months, indicating that some markets in Europe have begun to open their doors to travel, in addition to the American market, with the progress of vaccination operations for the population there.
