The Dow fell more than 260 points and the Nasdaq fell nearly 0.6%.

  Specifically, as of the close, the Dow fell 267.13 points, or 0.78%, to 34,060.66 points; the Nasdaq fell 75.41 points, or 0.56%, to 13,303.64 points; the S&P 500 index fell 35.46 points, or 0.85%, to 4,127.83 points.

  Major US technology stocks fell across the board. Apple fell 1.12%, Amazon fell 1.17%, Netflix fell 0.54%, Google fell 1.16%, Facebook fell 1.74%, and Microsoft fell 0.86%.

  Bank stocks fell across the board. JPMorgan Chase fell 1.45%, Goldman Sachs fell 1.41%, Citigroup fell 0.99%, Morgan Stanley fell 1.24%, Bank of America fell 1.26%, and Wells Fargo fell 2.11%.

  Energy stocks fell across the board, Exxon Mobil fell 2.81%, Chevron fell 3.08%, ConocoPhillips fell 1.8%, Schlumberger fell 2.91%, and Occidental Petroleum fell 1.93%.

  Most popular Chinese concept stocks rose, Legend Bio rose 14.24%, Best Group rose 12.89%, Uxin rose 12.77%, iQiyi rose 10.28%, Litchi rose 10.27%, Pinduoduo rose 3.58%, JD rose 2.24%, Alibaba Rose 1.27%.

In terms of decline, Worry-Free English fell 13.54%, Renren fell 9.06%, and Autohome fell 4.95%.

New energy vehicle stocks rose collectively. New energy vehicle seller Jiuzi New Energy rose 272.4% on its first day of listing in the United States, Weilai Automobile rose 1.18%, Xiaopeng Motor rose 4.56%, and Ideal Automobile rose 2.97%.

  In terms of European stock markets, the London Stock Market "Financial Times" average price index of 100 stocks closed at 7034.24 points, an increase of 1.39 points or 0.02% from the previous trading day.

The CAC40 index of the Paris stock market in France closed at 6353.67 points, a decrease of 13.68 points or 0.21% from the previous trading day.

The DAX index in Frankfurt, Germany closed at 15,386.58 points, down 10.04 points or 0.07% from the previous trading day.

  In terms of international oil prices, the price of crude oil futures for June delivery on the New York Mercantile Exchange fell 78 cents, or 1.2%, to close at $65.49 per barrel.

The price of Brent crude oil futures for July delivery on the London Intercontinental Exchange fell 75 cents, or 1.1%, to close at US$68.71 per barrel.

  In terms of international gold prices, the most active June gold futures price on the New York Mercantile Exchange gold futures market rose 0.4 US dollars over the previous trading day on the 18th and closed at 1868 US dollars per ounce, an increase of 0.02%.

  As for the US dollar index, as of the end of the New York trading session, the US dollar index, which measures the US dollar against the six major currencies, fell 0.46% to 89.7506.
