Fuzhou Deputy Mayor Hang Dong said that this Expo has overcome the international trade barriers caused by the new crown pneumonia epidemic and invited enterprises or agents in China from 80 countries and regions along the “Belt and Road” to participate in the exhibition, making it possible for countries along the “Belt and Road” to participate. The scale of exhibitions in China and the region remained at the highest level before the outbreak.

  This year coincides with the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Pakistan. The 4th 21st Century Maritime Silk Road Expo will set Pakistan as the country of honor and hold opening ceremony and promotion meetings.

Hang Dong said that the Expo will set up 14 special theme exhibition areas around the "Marine Silk Cooperation" and "Shared Development" sections, with a total exhibition area of ​​100,000 square meters and 3,800 booths.

  As an important component of the 4th 21st Century Maritime Silk Road Expo, the 16th China (Fujian) Consumer Goods Global Purchasing Fair, RCEP New Opportunities-Fujian Textile and Footwear Industry International Economic and Trade Cooperation Seminar, 2021 Fujian Overseas Chinese Youth Elite "Haisi" forums will be held one after another.

  Among them, the 16th China (Fujian) Consumer Goods Global Purchasing Fair will hold a green food special event, adopting a combination of online and offline docking mode to help Fujian food industry enterprises to expand the market along the "Belt and Road".

Xie Xuhua, vice chairman of the Fujian Council for the Promotion of International Trade, introduced that up to now, 56 high-quality supplier companies have been organized to participate in the conference, and more than 30 overseas buyers from Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand and other countries and regions have signed up to participate.
