According to Han Yongtao, the technical person in charge of the project, the torpedo car jointly developed by China Baowu Group and Dalian Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. has its own driving device and power supply device, and has realized unmanned operation through the ground dispatching and navigation system.

Compared with the traditional locomotive and torpedo vehicle transportation method, this type of torpedo turnover rate can be increased by 2.5 times, effectively slowing down the cooling of molten iron and fuel consumption.
