In detail, the Director General of the Emirates Cooperative Society, Muhammad Yusuf Al-Khaja, said that there is a group of commodities that topped consumer demand during the month of Ramadan, and most of them included large percentages of discounts since the beginning of the fasting month.

He added that these food commodities included: meat, frozen and fresh poultry, rice, edible oils, in addition to dairy products.

Al-Khaja pointed out that most of these products were the common denominator, with different brands in most marketing campaigns, in addition to other goods, but with varying turnout rates.
