According to economists, the next world economic crisis will occur in 2025 - 2026.

Experts believe that there are several options for the development of events.

According to the baseline scenario, the economic crisis will be triggered by the current monetary stimulus.

According to experts, such economic behavior will lead to overheating of markets, which can only be "cooled" by a cyclical recession.

Another, conservative, scenario assumes a delay in the fight against COVD-19 and less economic growth.

In this case, the economic crisis will be a logical continuation of the debt crisis, which will arise primarily in the countries of southern Europe and Turkey due to a long pandemic.

In April, the managing director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Kristalina Georgieva said that the total sovereign public debt of all countries is approaching 100% of world GDP.
