While the "normal" Tiguan was reviewed and corrected last fall, its long version Allspace (+22 cm) will soon meet the same fate.

In addition to slight aesthetic changes and the addition of technological content (new infotainment system, new driving aids, etc.), the SUV will adopt a plug-in hybrid engine already seen on the Passat GTE: it is of a thermal engine 1.4 coupled to an electric propulsion unit.

The whole develops 245 hp and should be able to drive about fifty kilometers in zero emission mode.

Details will be known during the official presentation of the VW Tiguan Allspace on May 12th.
