Air France and Corsair travelers to Corsica departing from Orly can present their negative PCR test certificate via the TousAntiCovid application, which should soon be able to integrate vaccination certificates.

This experiment will be extended next week to three new destinations: the French Antilles, Guyana and Reunion.

REPORTAGE

France continues to make progress on the establishment of a "health pass" in line with the "digital green certificate" proposed by the European Commission. It may eventually contain, via the TousAntiCovid application, the negative PCR test certificate, the certificate of recovery from Covid-19 and the vaccination certificate, all issued by laboratories or hospitals to guarantee their authenticity. This pass may in particular be requested for travel. Since April 22, the companies Air France and Corsair have launched an experiment at Orly airport, for flights to Corsica.

In the baggage drop area of Orly terminal 3, Luce goes to Bastia, phone in hand with the TousAntiCovid application open. "For the moment, I have only been able to put on the application my PCR from yesterday. I have not been able to return my vaccination certificates", she explains to Europe 1, these documents in hand. . "I'm going back to Corsica in July, August and Christmas. And next time, I think I'll have less papers than that." Because if we still have to wait to integrate digital proof of vaccination, the control of PCR tests is already more fluid, say Fabienne and Mathieu, two other travelers. "It saves time and gives you peace of mind," said the latter.

Faster checks

This device is faster, but also more reliable, as explained to Europe 1 Guillaume Bénos, deputy director of the Orly Air France stopover.

"The application instantly gives us the validity of the test. Which was always a little more complicated to interpret with the paper format, both in terms of the validity of the 72 hours and of the results, since all the forms were a little different depending on the laboratories. "

A first experiment with the AOK Pass application, tested a month ago by Air France at Roissy, turned out to be less convincing: mainly because not all the laboratories were partners. The current experiment will be extended next week to three other destinations: the French Antilles, Guyana and Reunion.
