NTT East has restricted the number of incoming calls to landlines in Tokyo from 9:00 am on the 6th due to the increase in telephone traffic.

This is a measure to prioritize emergency calls such as calling the fire department and police, but due to this effect, it is difficult to make a connection when making a call to a landline phone in Tokyo.

It seems that the amount of communication is increasing because the local governments in Tokyo are accepting reservations for vaccination against the new coronavirus via landlines.
