Zonescorp, a company specialized in economic zones, affiliated with Abu Dhabi Ports, has entered into a musataha agreement with the Block 7 Investment Company, a joint venture between the Abu Dhabi-based Emirati “Evair Capital” Holding Company Ltd. and the Malaysian “Serpa Dynamic” Holding Company Ltd. It provides for the development of the “Block 7 Innovation Park” in Abu Dhabi Industrial City (ICAD), as construction work for the project is scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2021.

The Block 7 Innovation Park project caters to the needs of diverse sectors, such as healthcare, computer science, robotics, mobility, renewable energy, and advanced and sustainable materials.

The complex - extending over an area of ​​820,000 square meters - also includes a number of establishments operating in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, advanced technology industries, information technology, smart office complexes, conference and exhibition centers, and commercial and entertainment facilities.
