According to the statistics of Xinjiang Power Grid’s electricity consumption data, in the first quarter of Xinjiang, the whole industry used 33.2 billion kWh of electricity, accounting for 89% of total electricity consumption, an increase of 20% year-on-year; urban and rural residents used 4.1 billion kWh of electricity, accounting for 11 %, an increase of 20% year-on-year.
Judging from the electricity consumption data of various industries, the electricity consumption of the primary industry is about 400 million kilowatt-hours, accounting for 1.2% of the industry's electricity consumption, a year-on-year increase of 29%.
The electricity consumption of the secondary industry was 20 billion kWh, accounting for 60.2% of the electricity consumption of the whole industry, an increase of 11% year-on-year.
The tertiary industry uses 12.8 billion kWh of electricity, accounting for 38.6% of the industry's electricity consumption, a year-on-year increase of 37%.
According to He Huimei, deputy director of the Electricity Charge Management Department of the State Grid Xinjiang Marketing Service Center, the significant increase in the electricity sales of Xinjiang Power Grid in the first quarter was mainly due to the relatively small base of electricity consumption due to the impact of the new crown pneumonia epidemic in the same period last year. The increase in electricity consumption for production and living drove the increase in overall electricity consumption.
This year, Xinjiang's industrial production is fully fired up, and some large stock customers are at a relatively high level of electricity load, which has led to an increase in industrial electricity consumption.
In the first quarter, industrial electricity consumption was 19.7 billion kWh, an increase of 12% year-on-year; the information technology service industry consumed 5 billion kWh, an increase of 61% year-on-year.
A highlight worthy of attention is high energy-consuming enterprises.
Since the Xinjiang government proactively guided the comprehensive integration of high-energy-consuming enterprises based on national industrial policies and environmental protection policies, the electricity consumption of high-energy-consuming enterprises in the first quarter of this year was 4.742 billion kWh, a small increase from the same period last year.
In March, high-energy-consuming enterprises consumed 1.536 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity, a year-on-year decrease of 17.83%.
Since the beginning of this year, State Grid Xinjiang Electric Power Co., Ltd. has taken multiple measures to optimize services, strengthened the tracking and implementation of key projects, closely followed the progress of new load power projects, and actively expanded the incremental power market.
Data shows that large customers with large electricity consumption, such as Zhundong Economic and Technological Development Zone Yunhe Data Technology, Chengyin Technology, and Xinjiang Tianye (Group), have increased their electricity consumption by 1.45 billion kilowatt-hours year-on-year. The increase in volume has played a major role in stimulating.
