Toyota's Beyond Zero family will be 100% electric.
Its first model will be unveiled on April 19 at the Shanghai Motor Show.
Based on a brand new platform, the BZ4X will offer several power levels and a 2- or 4-wheel drive transmission.
Several battery capacities will also be on the program.
The BZ4X will be a compact SUV in the format of the current Rav4, and marketing is expected to begin in 2022.
