"Since April 13, 2021, the Rosselkhoznadzor has allowed the import of tomatoes into Russia from seven Azerbaijani enterprises," the ministry said.
It is noted that the decision was made following the results of a quarantine phytosanitary examination of samples taken for the course of joint video inspections, as well as under the guarantees of the Food Safety Agency of Azerbaijan.
Earlier, the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia proposed to increase the quota for the import of tomatoes from Turkey - up to 300 thousand tons.
