I experienced the financial crisis painfully and up close, yes.

From my point of view, the two events are in no way comparable.

At that time, the financial economy was the problem, the financial crisis initially hit a few global financial service providers, from there it hit the entire financial sector and also parts of the real economy.

But only parts, especially large-scale industry, which got into difficulties refinancing.

Corona, on the other hand, affects the entire real economy, which is a completely different situation.
