According to the Automotive News Europe website, the expected delay in the arrival of the Tonale amounts to 3 months.

It seems that the new boss of Alfa Romeo, Jean-Philippe Imparato, wanted to make the small SUV benefit from the latest technologies developed by the Stellantis group.

Recall that the French, former CEO of Peugeot, has the reputation of having made the lion manufacturer extremely profitable.

Presented for the first time at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, the Alfa Romeo Tonale will be based on the Jeep Compass platform and should, among other things, be available in a plug-in hybrid version.

Its presentation is expected to take place in the first quarter of 2022.
