Among them, 3.211 million passengers were sent on April 3, a record high in a single day since the epidemic.

Under the situation that the epidemic prevention and control situation continues to stabilize and improve, the people's suppressed travel demand ushered in a "compensatory" rebound. The travel range is relatively concentrated in the "high-speed rail three-hour traffic circle", and weekend trips and short- and medium-distance trips have become the mainstream .

  During the Ching Ming Festival, the railway department also flexibly increased the capacity for popular directions and routes, with an average of more than 1,100 pairs of passenger trains operated daily, of which nearly 900 pairs of EMU trains.

  During the transportation period of the Spring Outing, the passenger flow of Lianzhen High-speed Railway, Yantong High-speed Railway, Xulian High-speed Railway, Shanghe-Hangzhou High-speed Railway, He'an High-speed Railway and other new lines all increased significantly more than usual.

  With the commissioning of many new lines in northern Jiangsu, the high-speed rail network in Jiangsu Province has basically become a network, and regions in the province are more closely connected with the two central cities of Shanghai and Nanjing. During the Spring Outing, the number of passengers sent in Jiangsu reached more than 18 million, surpassing Zhejiang, ranking first in the number of railway passengers in one city and three provinces in the Yangtze River Delta.
