At 11:57 on April 7, with two whistle sounds, two “dual-zone linkage” cross-border e-commerce trains loaded with electronic equipment, daily necessities and other goods slowly departed from Ganzhou International Dry Port. It marks the official opening of the Gan (zhou)-Shenzhen (Shenzhen) combined port.
After nearly three months of trial operation and testing for the import and export of the Gan (zhou)-Shenzhen (Shenzhen) combination port, 194 shipments of 197 containers have been successfully imported and exported.
Compared with the previous customs clearance model, enterprises will better enjoy the low-cost transportation advantages of "railway transfer", which is expected to save about 30% of the cost. At the same time, it also effectively avoids some losses caused by the conversion of ships. Save more than 15 million yuan in cost for the enterprise.
The opening and operation of the Ganshen combined port is another major achievement of the "Bay Area + Old District" cooperation. The combined port promotes the reform and innovation of the customs clearance model to realize the sharing of land and sea port resources, seamless business docking, and rapid customs clearance of goods. Import and export enterprises have built new convenient and efficient logistics channels.
