[Rural Revitalization] Northeast "New Farmers" Test Drone License for Spring Plowing

[Explanation] On April 6, at a drone training base in Changchun, Jilin Province, Liu Jinsong, a "post-00" boy from Heilongjiang Province, was earnestly learning to use drones for seeding, pesticide spraying, fertilization and other application technologies. Prepare for spring plowing.

People are the key to rural revitalization.

At present, an increasingly large group of "new farmers" are rooted in the fertile black soil of Northeast China. They have scientific and cultural qualities, uphold the concept of ecological agriculture, and take agricultural production, management or service as their occupations.

Reporters from this Longhang drone training base in the suburbs of Changchun saw that most of the students learning technology are very young. Under the leadership of the instructor, they carry out drone simulation driving, practical exercises and theoretical learning.

The reporter learned that these students will take the drone license exam on the 8th of this month.

Before the exam, they conducted the final assault training.

Liu Jinsong is a standard "new farmer". Before coming here to study, he had 2 years of farming experience.

He and his friends set up a company to help farmers use drones for farming. During the period, they encountered many problems, so they came to study.

There are many difficulties. For example, when repairing airplanes, we don't know how to fix this thing. When flying airplanes, we don't know how this thing can fly fast and with high efficiency.

[Explanation] Liu Jinsong, who has studied drones in colleges and universities, said that he has seen more and more seniors and classmates return to their hometowns to start businesses and join the team of developing smart agriculture.

Liu Jinsong said that most of these young people returning to their hometowns to start businesses are the "three generations of farmers", and they see the great prospects of science and technology boosting the development of agriculture.

For the older generation, from people, to agricultural machinery, and then to airplanes, because they have witnessed the great help of science and technology to the development of agriculture, they chose to learn drones to start their own businesses.

[Explanation] Liu Jinsong’s coach, Faxin, is also very young. Born in 1998, he has been teaching drones for nearly 5 years.

Fang Faxin told reporters that the eve of spring plowing every year is the peak period for farmers to sign up to learn drone technology.

After obtaining the license, they can use drones to plant seeds, spray pesticides, etc. The efficiency is several times higher than before.

Today, the drone training base where Faxin is located has covered hundreds of villages in the three northeastern provinces, and more and more farmers have realized the power of technology.

There are about 120 service cooperatives and various units that we have been cooperating with for a long time. Among them, there are other individual farmers. We have not counted them. We have served about 200 companies, or 200 plots.

Mainly aimed at the three provinces of the East. Other operation teams worked in Hainan (for pineapple and banana trees, including betel nut (pesticide), and they also worked there.

[Explanation] "New farmer" Liu Jinsong told reporters that after obtaining the drone license, he will return to his hometown to help and teach more farmers how to use this technology to promote the development of smart agriculture.

Airplanes are very promising; second, because the adults in the family are older, they really don’t want them to go on farming when they are farming, so I said that I took this thing and combined all of them in my hometown. The place (learning drones), I can get the land myself, so I still have a part of the income.
