According to reports, the construction of the "industrial base" aims at relying on industrial clusters or leading enterprises in the industry, with industrial chain enterprises as cultivating objects, giving full play to the demonstration and leading role of cooperative units and boosting the high-quality development of the industry.
In 2020, ZCE will launch a total of 55 "industrial bases".
In the 55 "industrial bases" spot trading practices, 9 futures spot trading models have emerged.
In addition to the four traditional models of futures hedging, option hedging, basis trading, and arbitrage trading, in 2020, the mode of corporate participation in the futures market will be further upgraded, with the emergence of product portfolio hedging, futures option portfolio hedging, and “insurance + futures”. According to the statistics of ZCE, the leading role of "industrial bases" is currently emerging. More than 90% of large cotton-related enterprises in Xinjiang participate in cotton futures, and more than half of China's top 500 coal-fired power companies participate in thermal coal futures.
