Twenty-one telecommunications carriers such as KDDI and Softbank submitted their opinions to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications regarding the issue of entertainment by NTT to executives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications.

Regarding the acquisition of NTT DoCoMo as a wholly owned subsidiary, we are seeking to find out the truth about whether the government's response was distorted.

Opinions were submitted jointly by 21 telecommunications carriers such as KDDI and Softbank.



Among them, the entertainment provided by management such as NTT President Jun Sawada to the executives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications did not distort the response of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications regarding NTT's acquisition of DoCoMo as a wholly owned subsidiary, or a third-party member of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications. We request that the truth be thoroughly investigated at the meeting.



After that, based on the verification results of the third-party committee, we will discuss again at the expert meeting to verify the impact of making DoCoMo a wholly owned subsidiary on the competitive environment, and until the results are finalized, NTT Communications and NTT Comware by DoCoMo We are requesting that we not proceed with further reorganization such as making it a subsidiary.



Regarding a series of entertainment issues, NTT has also set up an investigation committee to investigate whether it has affected the response of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications.
