It is reported that the total investment of the project amounts to 1.5 billion yuan, of which 100 million euros are used for loans from the European Investment Bank and 750 million yuan is used for domestic supporting facilities. It is currently the largest forestry foreign investment project organized and implemented in Anhui Province.

  The reporter learned from the kick-off meeting that the construction period of the project is 5 years, the loan period is 25 years, and the grace period is 5 years.

During the calculation period of the project, a total of 3.75 million cubic meters of timber can be produced, with a direct economic benefit of more than 4.3 billion yuan.

In the 25th year after the implementation of the project, the carbon storage of the arbor layer alone will reach 5.13 million tons, and the total value is nearly 780 million yuan based on the real-time expected price of 152 yuan per ton.

The implementation of the project will contribute to achieving carbon neutrality.

These favorable conditions have laid a solid foundation for the smooth implementation of this project.
