For Abu Dhabi, the regional dialogue on climate action is a showcase of its environmental commitment.
On Saturday, the "Mr. Climate" of the United States John Kerry also visited the largest solar park in the world located in the UAE capital.
The United Arab Emirates is in fact positioned as one of the pioneer states in renewable energy.
The country is also the first in the region to have implemented an energy strategy in 2017.
Because the United Arab Emirates, like the other petromonarchies in the region, are preparing for the post-oil era.
The Gulf authorities are therefore increasing the number of “green initiatives”.
Last week, for example, Saudi Arabia also announced a major climate program.
