Mini Electric Pacesetter -

DR

With its big ramp of lights on the roof spoiler, it's hard to miss the Mini Electric Pacesetter inspired by the John Cooper Works (JCW), which will be the “Safety car” of the next Formula E championship. Developing 182 hp and 280 Nm of torque, she went through a slimming cure which made her lose 130 kg, for a total mass of 1,230 kg.

The shields have been lightened and redesigned, while the wheel arches are wider than on the production version.

The interior has been considerably stripped down and many carbon elements appear.

For safety reasons, the pilot and his passenger have two bucket seats with 6-point harnesses.

Mini announces that its pacecar is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km / h in 6.7 seconds and that it will be present for the first time during the Rome round on April 10.
