"Bucking": 99% of hotel rooms have run out in 5 regions of Dubai, coinciding with the spring break

Data for the "Booking.com.com" website, which specializes in hotel reservations, showed high occupancy rates for hotel establishments operating in the emirate of Dubai during the spring break, indicating that between 96 and 99% of the hotel rooms available on its website were out of hotels in the island of "Palm Jumeirah", and "Jumeirah Beach Residence", "Downtown Dubai", "Dubai Marina" and "Business Bay" during weekends, starting from the beginning of this April.

According to the data monitored by "Emirates Today", the hotel market recorded high rates of reservations over the holiday exceeding 70% in various regions, while hotels classified in the category of "five-star" recorded the highest rate of reservations during the spring break, in addition to beach hotels and those overlooking. On the coast, including hotels located in vital areas on Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Barsha.

The data also showed a remarkable increase in the average hotel room rates during the holiday, compared to their levels from mid-February to the last week of this March, especially in “five-star” establishments, while hotels resorted to offering packages that include accommodation, in addition to Food services, and recreational facilities.
