Restaurant chain sales have fallen below the previous year's levels for 12 consecutive months.

Last month's sales of major restaurant chains nationwide fell by 22.3% compared to the same month last year due to factors such as shortened business hours following the declaration of an emergency for the new coronavirus.

Sales have fallen below the previous year's level for the 12th consecutive month since March last year.
