The engine combustion test of the Korean launch vehicle'Nuri', which is scheduled to be launched in October, has been completed.



The Korea Aerospace Research Institute succeeded in stably burning the first stage engine of the'Nuri' at the Naro Space Center in Goheung, Jeollanam-do for 125 seconds.



With the completion of the Nuri engine development, only rocket assembly and launch rehearsals remain.



If the Nuri is successfully launched, Korea will become the 7th country in the world with its own space launch vehicle technology.
