11 cm longer than its predecessor, the new Peugeot 308 has reduced its height by 2 cm for more dynamism and better aerodynamic efficiency.

The headlights are now equipped with LED technology and can even be optional matrix.

Like the 208, the 308 sees its rear lights connected by a strip which is not luminous.

Inside, the sedan still has the i-Cockpit dear to the brand, with a small steering wheel placed very low.

Very modern, the dashboard consists of two 10-inch touch screens.

A new infotainment system with the “Ok Peugeot” voice function is appearing in this model, which aims to be connected.

Thanks to its extended wheelbase of 5.5 cm, the 308 offers more room to its passengers and has a trunk with a capacity of 412 liters (361 liters for the hybrid versions).

From its launch, the French is available in 2 plug-in hybrid versions, powered by a 1.2 unit associated with an 81 kw electric powertrain, and an 8-speed automatic gearbox: the whole thing develops 180 or 225 hp.

Thanks to a 12.4 kW battery, the 308 will be able to travel around sixty km in electric mode.

In essence, the 1.2 is available in 2 versions: 110 and 130 hp.

Interestingly, Peugeot keeps a 130 hp 1.5 diesel version in the catalog.

Prices and release date have not yet been released.
