Panasonic is a world leader in dry batteries, with sales in Europe of approximately 30 billion yen, accounting for more than 10% of the company's total dry battery business.



However, in Europe, the demand for disposable batteries has been sluggish due to the growing environmental awareness of the citizens, so they decided to withdraw because they had little growth potential.
