The incident in the small town in the Baden-Württemberg district of Ravensburg occurred in November last year. The fire brigade rushed to the aid of the slightly injured couple and brought the fire under control. It wasn't the only case of a battery explosion in November: a few days earlier, a couple's e-bike battery in Lengerich had blown in the dining room when it was connected to the power.
