though the wing of a passenger plane was damaged by hitting it, Jeju Air carried people on board and went to flight without repairing or repairing it.

About noon on the 10th, a Jeju Air passenger plane from Gimpo Airport, carrying 138 passengers, attempted to land at Gimhae Airport.

Suddenly the aircraft loses level and tilts to the left, causing the tip of the wing to hit the runway, and the pilot hastily lifted the nose and raised altitude.

On the second attempt, it landed safely, but something absurd happened.

Even though the tip of the wing that touched the runway was damaged in an accident, after an hour and a half, it took 158 passengers and started sailing again.

Jeju Air said that it was not known that the wing was damaged at the time of flight, and that it was recognized only after arriving at Gimpo Airport.

Jeju Air has stopped operating the accidental passenger plane and is undergoing replacement and maintenance of parts.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport judges this accident as a'aviation safety impairment' and is seriously investigating it.

On the 8th, two days before the accident, the wing of a Jeju Air airliner, which was moving on the ground at Jeju Airport, hit an Air Seoul airliner and was damaged.

[Oh Seong-woon/Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Aviation Operations Manager: (during flight) There is an inspection procedure (procedure) that can be checked down if there is a specific matter. (I will investigate with emphasis)] The

Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport plans to call a representative from Jeju Air tomorrow (16th) to investigate and demand measures to prevent recurrence.
