  Sheng Guoqing pointed out that according to calculations, in February, the sales price of newly-built commercial residential buildings in four first-tier cities rose by 0.5% month-on-month, and the increase was 0.1% lower than the previous month.

Among them, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen rose 0.7%, 0.5%, 0.9% and 0.1% respectively.

The sales price of second-hand residential buildings rose 1.1% month-on-month, 0.2 percentage points lower than the previous month.

Among them, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen rose 1.2%, 1.3%, 1.0% and 0.9% respectively.

The sales prices of newly built commercial housing and second-hand housing in 31 second-tier cities both increased by 0.4% month-on-month, the same as the previous month.

The sales price of newly built commercial housing in 35 third-tier cities increased by 0.3% month-on-month, an increase of 0.1 percentage point from the previous month; the sales price of second-hand housing increased by 0.2% month-on-month, and the increase was 0.1 percentage point lower than the previous month.

  According to Sheng Guoqing's analysis, mainly due to the relatively low base in the same period last year, the year-on-year increase in the sales price of commercial residential buildings in all tier cities has increased.

According to estimates, in February, the sales prices of newly-built commercial housing and second-hand housing in first-tier cities increased by 4.8% and 10.8% year-on-year respectively, an increase of 0.6 and 1.2 percentage points respectively from the previous month; the sales prices of newly-built commercial housing and second-hand housing in second-tier cities rose respectively year-on-year 4.5% and 2.9%, an increase of 0.4% over the previous month; the sales prices of new commercial residential and second-hand housing in third-tier cities rose 3.6% and 1.9% year-on-year, respectively, an increase of 0.3 and 0.4% from the previous month.
