Domestic 5G mobile phone shipments exceeded 15.07 million in February

Accounted for nearly 70% of mobile phone shipments over the same period

　　Beijing, March 14 (Reporter Han Xin) China Academy of Information and Communications Technology recently released an analysis report on the domestic mobile phone market in February.

According to the report, the domestic 5G mobile phone shipments in February reached 15.071 million units, accounting for 69.3% of the mobile phone shipments in the same period; 16 new models were launched, accounting for 57.1% of the number of new mobile phone models launched in the same period.

From January to February, the domestic market’s 5G mobile phone shipments reached 42.349 million units, with 48 new models on the market, accounting for 68.4% and 59.3% respectively.

　　The report also showed that domestic mobile phone shipments reached 21.759 million units in February, a year-on-year increase of 240.9%.

From January to February, the total shipment volume of the domestic mobile phone market reached 61.879 million units, a year-on-year increase of 127.5%.

　　From the perspective of new models on the market, 28 new models of domestic mobile phones were launched in February, a year-on-year increase of 33.3%.

From January to February, a total of 81 new models went on the market, a year-on-year increase of 58.8%.
