They pointed out that some employees practice these behaviors individually, noting that the customer can, if he discovers the absence of the benefits offered by the employee, he can file a complaint with the customer service center at the bank.

In detail, the trader, Ahmad A.A., said that a marketing employee at a bank explained to him many of the advantages of a credit card offered to him, including a discount to enter the cinema and distinct airport lounges.

He added that he did not find these advantages when using the card, calling on the bank management not to allow employees to have such behaviors that harm the reputation of the banks themselves.

He confirmed that he would apply to close the card as a result.

For his part, the dealer, Ibrahim S., said that he obtained a credit card from an Islamic bank, but he did not find the advantages of the card, which the marketing employee offered, related to miles and points that could be used for travel reservations.

He added that he called the employee, who told him that the bank itself had canceled these privileges.

In the same context, the client, Hiba A., presented her experience, saying that after using the card for several months, he discovered that the cashback advantage was much less than what the banking marketing employee offered when signing the credit card transaction.

She said that many bank employees took advantage of the special circumstances of the repercussions of the Corona virus, and did not provide all the information under the pretext of contracting "online" without visiting the branch.

In addition, the banker Mustafa Fahmy stressed the importance of the customer reading the terms of the contract well, as well as all the terms and conditions for the banking product, as they clarify all the benefits and obligations, the percentages of profits due, and other matters, expressing his regret that some dealers are satisfied with what the employee says This is not good.

Fahmy added: “The customer must request the card’s brochure before contracting, to be familiar with its advantages well, and in the event that a printed copy is not available due to pandemic conditions (Corona), then he can request the electronic link for the card on the bank’s website, to view all the terms. And read it well ».
