Dubai Civil Aviation Authority data showed that the total number of passengers through Dubai International Airport, during last February, reached one million and 670 thousand and 344 passengers, compared to about two million and 46 thousand passengers in the previous January.
According to data from the authority, Emirates Today obtained a copy of it, as the volume of air cargo through Dubai International Airport in February 2021 reached 159 thousand and 654 tons, compared to 166 thousand and 430 tons in the previous January, while the volume of shipment reached Al Maktoum International Airport, During the same period, to 13 thousand and 176 tons, compared to 14 thousand and 589 tons in the previous month.
The number of flights at Dubai International reached 15,433 air movements compared to 17,526 air movements in January 2021, while the number of air movements at Al Maktoum International Airport reached 2,344 air movements compared to 3122 air movements in the previous January.
According to the Dubai Airports Corporation, the number of global destinations served by "Dubai International" is 147.
Traffic also showed positive numbers in the second half of 2020, as December exceeded aviation industry forecasts of 2.19 million passengers.
