Kumar pointed out that foodstuffs account for most of the sales during the month of Ramadan, as well as commodities related to the kitchen, such as cooking utensils and household items.

In the same context, the Deputy Director of the Abu Dhabi Cooperative Society for Operations, Abdullah Eid, said that "basic and food commodities that are frequently used during Ramadan are available for a long time, up to several months," agreeing that there are no obstacles in the supply processes that go on smoothly.

Eid called on consumers not to crowd, and to avoid buying large quantities of goods, or buying what they do not need.

For his part, the expert on retail affairs, Ibrahim Al-Bahr, said that "there is a large stock of basic commodities, especially food, that will last for several months.
