In the midst of the electoral campaign in Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu is trying to take advantage of his achievements such as the mass vaccination of the population against Covid-19 and the normalization agreements with Arab countries.

The Israeli prime minister was due to visit the United Arab Emirates this week, but his official visit was canceled at the last moment.

Not to remain on a negative note, he announces all the same that this Gulf country intends to invest 10 billion dollars in Israel.

The peace agreements signed with the Arab countries bring stability and also economic benefits.

The Israeli Prime Minister intends to capitalize on his achievements.

For months, the one nicknamed "Bibi" has been trying to materialize his tour in the Gulf in Abu Dhabi, Dubai or even in Manama, capital of Bahrain, a country which has also normalized its relations with the Hebrew state.

But each time, his plans fell through for various reasons, including travel restrictions linked to the health crisis.

The political survival of "Bibi" at stake

So, failing to have his photo alongside the sheikhs of the Gulf, Benyamin Netanyahu announced after a telephone conversation with Mohamed Ben Zayed, a strongman of the United Arab Emirates, 10 billion dollars of UAE investments in Israel.

Abu Dhabi confirms the creation of a fund that will be used to finance several projects in strategic areas: energy, health, agriculture and the conquest of space.

This announcement rejoices Benyamin Netanyahu who is playing his political survival in this election.
