Manal Bin Yarouf Al Suwaidi: “The unified application provides about 100 Dubai Municipality services for individuals.”

Citizen Manal Bin Yarouf Al Suwaidi was able to complete an innovative application, by making use of the Diploma in Digital Services Design, which she obtained with the support of Smart Dubai, with the aim of using the experiences of customers in developing and designing an innovative application that includes a large number of services provided to clients of the Municipality Dubai ».

Al Suwaidi, who works as Director of Customer and Partners Relations Department in Dubai Municipality, indicated that she worked to implement a set of modern tools in the application experience with customers, which was launched during the last period, to ensure the application of creative design axes in engaging customers to develop the unified application of Dubai Municipality. And to improve the customer experience for the unified application, which provides nearly 100 Dubai Municipality services for individuals.

And it stated that it worked on developing the unified application of the municipality, to further facilitate and accelerate the procedures of services provided to customers, after there were 13 applications previously dedicated to providing these services to customers.

She pointed out that the "diploma" is based on using current and emerging technologies to help accelerate the innovation process, and contribute directly to improving the economy, the environment and the quality of life in Dubai.

Al-Suwaidi explained that the development of the unified application included its design through multiple stages, in which it relied on the stages of design thinking, which were among the most important lessons learned from the "diploma", and how to rely on modern technologies to ensure the design of services and applications to meet the needs of customers.

She indicated that the development process for the application included several stages, the most prominent of which included noting the journey of the customer with services and drawing that journey, then moving to the stage of identifying development needs, identifying target development points, receiving feedback from specialized employees in providing services, and then reaching the stage of inventorying new ideas. And does it meet the needs of the customers, then the stage of reaching the services model in the application, and until the final stage of testing services, and the experience of the customer's journey in the final form before offering to the customers.

She pointed out that the unified application provides multiple services around the clock, seven days a week, and one of the most prominent services provided is the “Maskani” service to citizens, to deliver the agreed upon lands, in addition to the “My Map” service, to clarify locations through geographic navigation systems.
