On March 11, the release of SAIC Roewe's battery swap models and the completion ceremony of the Aodong Shanghai battery swap network was held at Shanghai Swap Station No. 001-Shanghai Hongqiao Airport South Station.

It is understood that the latest generation of the new energy 4.0 swap station has the characteristics of "sharing, speed, safety, and friendliness", and it has realized the 20-second speed swap for multiple car companies and models.

  In this replacement station, each vehicle replacement service only takes 1 minute, which can effectively solve the problems of slow charging of new energy vehicles, difficult charging in low temperature climate, user mileage anxiety, short battery life and hidden safety hazards.

  We have two battery swapping mechanisms working at the same time. When the vehicle enters the swap station, a fully charged battery is already on standby.

During the process of removing the battery from the shuttle car on the opposite side, the fully loaded battery has already moved to the bottom of the car, and the overall time for this process is 20 seconds.

So our current Wubaolu substation replacement station, it can work 960 times of vehicle service per day.

He pointed out that this is also the world's fastest swap station, which can greatly shorten the charging time of taxi drivers and other driver groups, and its work efficiency will also be greatly improved.

  In the previous charging mode, the driver generally had to go for a fast charge at noon. The fast charge took 40 minutes, and it took at least an hour to come and go.

It takes 6 hours to charge slowly at night.

The battery swap mode can solve the battery swap in only 20 seconds, which greatly saves the driver's original charging time, and more time can be used for operation.

This is also the fastest battery replacement speed in the world. The driver saves this time and he can do more business, so it is advantageous.

  [Explanation] On the same day, the first batch of hundreds of SAIC Roewe Ei5 quick-change vehicles were officially delivered at the press conference. Dazhong Transportation and Jiangnan Tourism became the first users and officially put into operation.

Yang Guoping pointed out that the layout of quick-change vehicles and extremely fast battery-changing services will achieve sustainable "blessing" for battery life-cycle management and separation of vehicles and electricity, and many parties will benefit from it.

  In addition, the battery sometimes decays after a few years. After the battery change mode is used, the problem is not big. Ensure that the battery is intact.

It is also conducive to the separation of car and electricity in the future, the car and the battery are separated, and the battery is rented when buying a car, which is more reasonable for the operation of taxi companies.

According to reports, it is estimated that by the end of 2021, the number of power-swap taxis in Shanghai will exceed 3,000, and the Shanghai power-swap era has fully begun.
